Here’s a cover gallery from one of the oddest micro-trends of the Silver Age, “Strange Sports Stories.” The series only lasted five issues before DC cancelled it and returned to super-heroes. All covers are by Carmine Infantino (pencils) and Murphy Anderson (inks), except issue #47, which was inked in Joe Giella. The Brave and the Bold #45-49 were published by DC Comics, December 1962 - August 1963.
